Thank you to everyone who helped make Groundwork’s appearance at the 64th annual Global Security Exchange in Las Vegas, NV a rousing success last month. Keeping busy with a steady stream of visitors to its new, expanded exhibit, the Groundwork team was proud to unveil its new portal at this year’s event, complete with Live Ops view—a critical part of its enterprise-level solution for embedded ground travel management. “The Live Ops view is a real game-changer for larger organizations because we can give the Security team a live visual and status updates of their principals’ movements during what used to be a big black box—the ground transportation piece,” noted Director of Operations, Crystal Cartwright.
In addition to its activities on the Exhibit Hall floor, Groundwork’s Senior Director of International Operations, Elizabeth Court, and EVP of Marketing Strategy, McKenna Michel, presented recently completed research as part of the new X-Learning Initiative. The session, titled, “Securing Our Corporate Leaders: A Survey of Executive Protection Practices,” provided highlights from the report by the same name based on research conducted with ASIS International, as well as candid interviews with executive protection practice leaders from enterprise-level organizations from around the world. The team also participated in a full slate of educational sessions and networking events with our more than 20,000 fellow attendees and 550 exhibitors at this year’s event; the best in the nation for taking the pulse of the security industry and trends affecting it. We have already marked our calendars for next year’s 2019 event, September 8-12 in Chicago, and hope you’ll join us.
